LEARNING GOALS

In mijn eigen werk uit ik kritiek, maar niet op een onderbouwde manier. Ik wil graag kritisch zijn met een beargumenteerde manier. Het mag meer de diepte in gaan, en de kritiek mag nog wel harder.
Ik wil 1 onderwerp pakken, en daar volledig de verdieping in gaan. Dit als basis om kritisch te zijn tegenover je onderwerp. Tevens wil ik de onafhankelijkheid hier in hebben.
Alledaagse dingen of voorwerpen zijn fijn om aan te pakken vanwege het feit dat ze symbool 'kunnen' staan voor het grotere geheel. Ik heb ook altijd moeite om met vrijheid zo om te gaan dat je kaders gaat maken om het makkelijker voor jezelf te maken. Ik wil iets afleveren wat klopt. Het is iets wat mij fascineert.

FRUSTRATIONS

Dat het toilet papier met het velletje wat los hangt tegen de muur hangt. Het velletje moet voor de rol hangen. Zo kan je met 1 hand er wat af halen, en nog belangrijker, zo haal je ook economisch er iets van af. Omdat je ziet hoeveel je er af haalt.

Oplossing 1.
Maak één van de zijdes dicht, waardoor de gebruiker verplicht is om de wc rol op maar één manier er op te schuiven. Hierdoor hangt het velletje papier altijd naar buiten.

Oplossing 2.
Een martelplaatje wat je aan de muur kan bevestigen, zodat de gebruiker wel genoodzaakt is om het toiletpapier andersom te hangen. Het martelplaatje kan bijvoorbeeld roestige spijkers, schuurpapier en injectie naalden met HIV er aan.

EDUCATION FRUSTRATIONS

We (romy and I) think that the Wijnhaven building is a boring and non-inspirational place. It's more a hospital than an art academy.
People are going to their classes, and then leave to go home. We want people to stay, and be part of the academy. We want to make people feel like home.
That's why we made an extented version of a living room at the second floor in Wijnhaven at the interaction station.

This week (29 sep) there were many people working and chilling. We got many positive feedback and the idea is that the living room extends to more spaces in school and on different floors.

We finished the living room on the second floor in Wijnhaven Interaction Station. But from the 11th of november there's a new living room! IN THE DRAWING STATION. The people are allready excited and happy. When we leaved the room, people where running towards the furniture to sit on. That was cool.

We are going to make a living room out of the staff's room (teachersroom). There will be more to come.

WALKING ROUTE

Take a different walking route to the park, different than you usually take. Well, we did.
We (Nikos, Loes, Inouschka, Romy and I) first took the watercab to Veerhaven. From that point we walked through houses, cars, backyards, restaurants, hospital, hotels, bars and jumped from high distance in the park. The clip with sound, images and moving images will be posted beneath this text.....
